2011 Dear friends, This is a particularly nice letter to write since many good things have happened to us lately. Dani has been born The most beautiful moment was of course the birth of our son Dani on the 21st of February. It took him a long while to be born, but he came spontaneously and in good health. Dani is a very calm and happy baby, he only cries when he is in pain from stomach cramps and that does not happen often. Dani is kissed and cuddled a lot! On our website you can find photos of Dani. Accepted at Trinity School In March we were informed that Jurgen is offered a place at the Trinity School of Theology in Rugby. We are happy and relieved. All the puzzle pieces seem to fall in place. The school offers good education but also pastoral care for the students to help them through. Jurgens studies will commence at the end of September with a freshers week. Preparations for our move Although our move to the UK is still 4 months away we are busy preparing for what is to come. All sorts of practical issues arise. We are currently moving many of our personal belongings to Katja's mothers attic instead of our own. This sometimes feels like a goodbye already. Jurgen is looking into our actual move to England. Happily we do not need to take many things. The owners of the cottage we will rent let us know that we can use the present furniture. Loose ends Although many things have fallen into place there remain a few loose ends, such as our house. Your continued prayers for the selling of our house are much appreciated. Thank you for your involvement! With greetings, Jurgen, Katja, Vanya, Issa, Abbey & Dani Hofmann |
